What is 'Household' Membership?

Rather than offering a confusing range of membership packages, sub-groups or finickity options we decided it's better for all if we simply allow members to join as a household group.  After all, family and friends is what it's all about at Wood-Fired Camping!

Household-Membership covers all those living at a single residential address (i.e. household) irrespective of age, sex, status or relationship to the first applicant.  It doesn't matter if you are UK based or located overseas all that we require is a legitimate residential address and your confirmation that you want to be a member for the ensuing year.

To keep operating costs down and organisation simple, we work digitally where possible - so an email address is necessary for us to keep in touch with you.  If you can't use email for any reason you are welcome to contact us and we'll do what we can to help.

Become An Affiliated Site

If you operate a campsite or glamping facility that has wood-fired camping at its heart - we'd love to invite you to be come an Affiliated Site Member.  Affiliated Site Membership simply requires that you / your site agrees to, and abides by, The Club's code of conduct and that you continue to offer a great opportunity to our membership.

There's no obligation upon to you to offer any preferential treatment to members or to provide discounts (although if you want to, that would of course be welcome), nor will you be expected to do anything that might jeopardise your business.  We're simply building a network of likeminded sites and operators where our members can be sure of a warm welcome!

In return for Affiliated Site Membership, you'll be promoted to our members through this website (basic map / search facility) at no additional cost.

In addition to our 'free' Affiliated Membership, our team is working on a range of enhanced marketing tools and promotional packages that will be available exclusively to our club affiliates and to club sites...

To qualify for acceptance, sites MUST be operational (or ready to operate within the law!) presently, or available for bookings in the coming season.  In other words, to qualify members MUST be able to stay at your site (subject to booking of course!) 

Note that The Club reserves the right to decline any applications - at our discretion - and an application for Affiliated Membership does not guarantee acceptance.

Certified Site Membership

This package is available on an annual paid subscription basis and is exclusively available to those who currently hold a WFCC exemption certificate. This membership is offered in the first instance upon the granting of the exemption certificate to a new site operator.

This package provides:
  • Annual certification & accreditation;
  • Member access to all WFCC facilities;
  • Entry onto the register of sites and our searchable sites map
  • Full access to the 'members area' on our website;
  • Exemption certificate renewal administration and inspections*
